100 Wardour Street is a glistering, two level restaurant & bar located in the heart of Soho. 100 Wardour Street has you covered morning until night offering morning coffee to lunch meetings to dancing into the early hours with live music, six nights a week.
100 Wardour Street's ground floor is a relaxed and stylish Bar & Lounge, perfect for lunch, and after-work cocktails and bar bites. The diverse menu offers something for everyone, from freshly ground coffee, avocado and feta on toast for lunch to an evening snack of crispy squid with chilli and lime.
100 Wardour Street's second level is downstairs in the basement hosting the Restaurant & Club. Here you can draw on Soho’s old spirit of fun and music.
Food is served until 2am, from a menu including gin & tonic cured smoked salmon with potato salad, sirloin steak, or steamed sea bream with crushed potatoes – all finished up with the likes of chocolate delice or Madagascan vanilla crème brûlée. There is a fantastic cocktail selection including pre-bottled creations.
This year's Valentine's Day my husband and I decided to celebrate this day with friends dinning at the 100 Wardour Street.
We were seated in the Restaurant & Club with a great view of the live band. Couples flustered around us enjoying the special Valentine's menu created by the Chef. The night awaited a beautifully constructed 3 course meal and serenades from the stage.
To start off our culinary experience at 100 Wardour Street we were served for starters the Ceviche of halibut with chilli, mango, passion fruit, Aruga caviar and coriander oil; colourful with fresh notes. The Baked scallop's au Gratin with sea vegetables and tarragon Crum, the most beautiful dish on the menu. The Beetroot & goat's cheese tart with sherry vinegar caramel and toasted hazelnuts and the Confit duck with potato & duck liver terrine, cherries, smoked almonds and brioche. To complement our meal we were served the house's red wine, The Rambler.
For mains we shared the greatest platter for lovers and friends,the Surf 'n' Turf . Starring Cote de boeuf that is served with garlic butter tiger prawns and sides of sour cream & chive pomme puree and green beans with crispy shallots. Surf 'n' Turf combines the best of both worlds, seafood and red meat. This course was a celebration on its own and a real feast.
Every meal needs a sweet ending. The chef prepared a surprising Chocolate & raspberry sphere with hazelnut & salt caramel ice cream and Warm chocolate brownie with raspberry sorbet and berries for all choco-lovers. The Strawberry, rhubarb & almond tart with lemon sorbet and the Passion fruit & white chocolate mousse with citrus fruits and sesame tuilles for tropical freshness.
100 Wardour Street plays tribute to the once, Marquee Club – where artists including David Bowie and the Rolling Stones strutted their jams and puts its own spin on it. 100 Wardour Street is a strong contender to the hustle and bustle of bars and restaurants located around it.
