London Steakhouse Co. Chelsea is one of the original worldwide steakhouses owned by Marco Pierre White. London Steakhouse has built a reputation serving a mouth-watering range of classic steak cuts, as well as a wide variety of timeless English dishes.
The restaurant is located in the heart of Chelsea, on Kings Road. It is easily accessible and allows for a shopping spree before or after your meal.
The glamorous interior complements the delicate menu of the finest quality steaks, roast meats and fish dishes in the area. London Steakhouse Co. is a great destination for special dates, memorable moments and friendly outings. I took my sister, bride to be, to London Steakhouse Co. Chelsea for a celebratory three course dinner.
For starters we opted for the burrata salad with tomato, home-made pesto and fresh basil; my favourite out of the two. Secondly, the potted duck with green peppercorn served on toasted sourdough.
To drink, there’s a strong selection of wines, and staff are happy to recommend pairings. We were recommended a fresh and rounded white wine 'Vina Pomal Viura Malvasia 2017' to complement our meal. The wine presented a light oak nuttiness balancing well with the young acidity.
For mains we shared the 16oz Chateaubriand prime fillet accompanied with bone marrow, parsley and lemon, house fries, creamed spinach, potato croquettes and a topping of maple-cured bacon. For sauces we chose peppercorn and béarnaise. This a definitely a delicious sharing choice with delicate flavour and various sides. This was my first time tasting bone marrow, adding additional texture and flavour to the feast. Alternative options allow for Rib Eye, T-bone, Fillet, Sirloin and Rump cuts.
To end our celebrations with a bang, we ordered the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and warm caramel sauce. A British classic executed to sweet perfection.
London Steakhouse is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, offering an À La Carte Menu and a Children’s Menu all the time, with a vegetarian option always available on request.
